Witch's Knot

Witch's Knot

Witch's Knot

Also known as the Witch's Spell or Hexefus. It is an ancient Celtic symbol of protection, consisting of four intertwined, continuous loops, often arranged around a central circle. They represent an unbreakable, binding and eternal shield against negative energy and curses.

Historically, it has been used to ward off evil. In the Middle Ages, it was carved or drawn with chalk on door and window frames to protect against evil. It is also used as a talisman to protect personal space.

The witch's knot represents the four elements (earth, air, fire, water), the cardinal directions and the binding of negative forces.

The witch's knot is still a symbol of protection in modern witchcraft and pagan practices. It is used as amulets and talismans, as well as in jewelry to bring personal protection.

In homes, it can still be used as a pattern to protect the home from evil.
