Rauni is a Western Finnish folk epic.
Western Finns got their own folk epic in August 2025. Rauni was published then. It has been collected, compiled and edited directly from the original Western Finnish folk poems.
The work is edited by author and folk poetry researcher Juha Jyrkäs.
